It has recently been confirmed that the sequel to the Netflix original film is officially happening, with the starring cast reprising their roles.

Based on Jenny Han’s YA romance novel, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before follows the story of high-schooler Lara Jean, who has to face all her past crushes after her old letters to them somehow get leaked. Throughout the film, we see Lara facing only four out of the five crushes her letters have been sent to, but a surprise scene during the credits shows a dapper young man appearing on the Coveys’ doorstep, bearing flowers and an all-too-familiar letter. This is where the film is likely to take off from.

The film will be based on Jenny Han’s P.S. I Love You, the sequel to To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. The second film is also set to be a little more dramatic than the first, with tension building between Lara Jean and Peter as John Ambrose, Lara Jean’s crush from Model UN, enters the picture.

So far, the only thing confirmed about the film is that Lana Condor and Noah Centineo will be returning as Lara Jean and Peter K., respectively.
